Tokyo is the capital of Japan and one of the largest urban area in the world. Tokyo is the financial center of Japan and a blend of high-technology and tradition. Tokyo is huge and a well-organized modern city. The city landscape of Tokyo consists of temples and shrines, quiet nature reserves, historical buildings, futuristic architecture and neon lights. The core of the city includes Chiyoda and Chuo. The quiet neighborhood of Asakusa has some must-see attractions such as the Sensoji Temple, the Nakamise-dōri shopping arcade, and the Golden Poo. Nearby is the Ueno area, including the Ameyoko market. A perfect spot to shop for traditional gifts and see a great Buddhist temple. Tokyo West-Side Walking and Street Food Tour

Tag 1 - Shared
Loosen your belt buckle and join me on a no fuss walking and street food adventure in my hometown, West Tokyo.

Dive head first into the eclectic neighbourhoods of Nakano and Koenji, as we stop by my favourite haunts to grab a bite to eat in these buzzing local eating, drinking and entertainment hubs.

Take joy in sampling a wide array of popular eats from local vendors, independent markets and Japanese franchises as we wind our way through the rustic streets and never-ending 'shotengai'. When it comes to good food, I don't discriminate on the source!

With the insider knowledge of a seasoned local, nothing's off limits as we fill our stomachs and explore the urban landscapes, dingy backstreets, neighbourhood attractions and mouthwatering cuisine that gives these culturally rich enclaves their distinctive character.

Come hungry and don't be shy about getting your hands dirty on this ALL INCLUSIVE Tokyo street food jaunt.

Leave content, with a new appreciation of local flavours, Japanese eating etiquette and an eye-opening introduction to two of my favourite Tokyo neighbourhoods.
